Telford & District A.R.S. are proud that the 5th Telford Hamfest is set to go ahead in Septermber 2010. It is an alternative event, co-ordinated with the famous Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust’s Staff at Enginuity.

This is a fantastic ‘Hands on Technology’ Centre, which invites visitors of all ages and interests to roll up their sleeves and get involved with a discount for all people attending the Hamfest.

The Committee and club at TDARS are working hard in preparation for another succesfull event in 2010. This site offers more than just a traditional radio rally venue and we have developed a good reputation both for our exhibitors, but also the location and local attractions. The 2009 event saw us maintain the same visitor levels as previous years, testement to the quality of traders and venue. Even though the beautiful Ironbridge Gorge is a great attraction in its own right we have the Enginuity technology site right next door and we have secured a discounted admission price into this attraction.

It is just a few minutes (4 miles) journey south from the M54 (J6) at Telford and from other trunk roads.(Main parking Postcode TF8 7DU). See location tab for detailed directions.

We believe that there is a need for quality regional events like this to support the grass roots amateurs. we are very happy to be supported once again by you the Radio Amateur - Thankyou from all the Committee.

From feedback and given our experience in 2008, we would anticipate all available space will again be booked prior to the event. Our previous experience in organising radio rallies will ensure all arrangements will go smoothly and efficiently, and a good day will be had by all.
